Jewelry line, Trajet (French, meaning to “travel”) is an eclectic mix of old and new. Designer Tracy McClain repurposes found gems and golden chains to create beautifully intricate layers. To brand this collection, we were drawn to the symbol of the Ouroboros. The Serpent biting its own tail is first seen in Egypt as a symbol of the sun, and represented the travels of the sun disk — relating back to travel. The Ouroboros wrapped around an ancient “T” paired with a more modern type treatment for Trajet reflects the old and new approach to the collection.
